Pregnancy is a time of tremendous change - physically, emotionally, and mentally. While it’s often portrayed as a purely joyful season, the truth is that it can feel overwhelming, lonely, and even disorienting. That’s why we’re so honored to introduce our newest group offering:
Gentle Beginnings is a support group for pregnant moms in any trimester, designed to hold space for your whole experience, whatever that looks like right now. Whether this is your first pregnancy or your third, whether you’re feeling excited, anxious, disconnected, or all of the above, you’re welcome here.
Why Mental Health Support Matters During Pregnancy
Mental health doesn’t begin postpartum, it begins now. The way you care for your emotional well-being during pregnancy can shape how you experience birth, bonding, and early parenting.
In Gentle Beginnings, we talk about the things you might not hear in your OB’s office or at your baby shower - like identity shifts, anxiety, grief over your former self, fears about parenting, and more. This is a space where you don’t have to pretend, where you can show up exactly as you are.
What to Expect in Gentle Beginnings
Each group session is 90 minutes and includes:
A grounding check-in to connect with your body + emotions
Psychoeducation on perinatal mental health, nervous system regulation, and identity shifts
Gentle community-building with other pregnant moms
Tools and practices you can take with you into birth and postpartum
Led by a licensed mental health counselor, this group is designed to be nourishing, grounding, and real. We move slowly, we listen deeply, and we remind each other that we’re not alone.

This group is for you if you’re:
Pregnant in any trimester
Craving emotional support and community
Navigating anxiety, uncertainty, or big feelings about the transition to motherhood
Looking for a space where you can just be yourself
