I’m Alicia, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the owner of A Balanced Self. I’m passionate about helping women reconnect with their true selves using a holistic, whole-person approach to counseling. Together, we’ll explore all aspects of who you are—your thoughts, emotions, physical well-being, and past experiences—to identify and release the barriers preventing you from living a life of true fulfillment. In addition to traditional therapeutic techniques, I blend energy psychology practices into my work, such as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). This powerful tool helps release emotional blockages, reduce stress, and reprogram limiting beliefs, allowing for deeper healing and lasting transformation. I also recognize the important connection between nutrition and mental health, and while I guide you in understanding how nutrition can impact your emotional well-being, I connect you with trusted local practitioners who specialize in this area for further support.

  • Who is the group for?
    This group is for postpartum moms (0-12 months post-birth), experiencing anxiety and depression. At this time, the group is only for moms that are located in Massachusetts. You must be either a resident of Massachusetts and located in the state at the time of the group meetings.
  • How long is the group?
    The group is for 90 minutes weekly, for 8 weeks.
  • Where is the group?
    The group is 100% virtual!
  • Are second/third time moms eligible?
    Yes! All moms are welcome, whether it's your first, second, or third time around!
  • Am I able to participate in group if I have already before?
    Yes! We'd love to have you join us again. This group is so unique that even though some areas may be the same, there is always new material being added in. Also, you may have a different perspective now in your motherhood journey than you did when you first began group.
